Where Learning begins

About Us

The beginning of every story matters

Prologue is a boutique English studio where reading and writing are taught with care, craft, and intention. We believe learning should feel thoughtful rather than rushed, and meaningful rather than mechanical. Here, students are guided to read closely, think clearly, and write with growing confidence.

Miss Clarrie

Every great beginning needs someone who can see the potential in a child — Miss Clarrie has spent over a decade doing just that. Her experience spans K–12 classrooms in Vancouver to curriculum design in Singapore, all of which shaped her warm, intuitive approach with learners of every age.

Miss Poh

Every writer starts with a story — and Miss Poh has guided hundreds of children through theirs. With nine PSLE cohorts under her wing, she has a gift for turning anxious writers into confident thinkers who understand not just how to write, but why they write.

Miss Karmen

Miss Kamern brings the world of language, literature, and art into every classroom she steps into. Her students quickly discover that English isn’t just a subject — it’s a way of observing the world with sharper eyes and a more thoughtful mind.

Prologue began with a simple belief: children write better when they feel understood, not pressured.

Our teachers work closely with each student, taking time to understand how they read, think, and express themselves. Classes are kept intentionally small so teachers can observe carefully, guide purposefully, and support each child at the right moment.

Teaching at Prologue is not about performance. It is about attention, clarity, and

consistency.

Every Prologue class is guided by teachers who care deeply about how learning happens, not just what is covered.
