"Is the PSLE Oral Exam getting harder?"
It’s the question that starts appearing in every P6 parent chat around this time of year.
At Prologue, we don’t do memorisation drills. Instead, we use answer frameworks (like TEA+, TACO, and CAKE) to give students a structure for their own thoughts.
We provide the vocabulary through sample responses, but we teach the student how to build the argument themselves. It’s the difference between a child who sounds like a robot, and a child who sounds like an AL1 candidate.
Phase 1
Weekly Practice
(Now – May)
Focus: Habit Building & Framework Installation.
Fix bad habits early and master the core frameworks through modular, credit-based Zoom sessions.
Cost: 1 Credit per session
Phase 2
The June Oral Sprint
(June Holidays)
Focus: Momentum & High-Frequency Topics.
High-intensity daily practice to apply frameworks to the most common PSLE themes.
Cost: 1 Credit per session
Phase 3
Exam Simulation
(July – August)
Focus: Stamina & Real-World Confidence.
Intensive mock exams conducted in a strict format to prepare for the actual PSLE environment.
Cost: 1 Credit per session
